Truly one of the world’s most exquisite coffees, Panama Geisha!

Geisha coffee begins with picking the ripest cherries. Producers prefer hand-picked cherries as it helps ensure only properly ripe coffee cherries are harvested. The riper the cherry means the resulting coffee will have a sweeter flavour profile.

A complex, full-bodied coffee, Panama Geisha gives you a blast of raspberry followed by smooth hints of vanilla and tea rose. Drink an espresso to savour the flavour for a world-beating taste experience. Works exceptionally well as a later afternoon, evening coffee.

Description

Panama Geisha Coffee. Truly one of the world’s most exquisite coffees

The Chiriqui region, Panama, is one of the world’s highest and driest coffee growing regions. Cultivated at heights of up to 6500 feet, these high altitudes make for an exceptionally exquisite coffee. Grown and harvested on the Finca El Paternal Estate, this remote farm benefits from mineral-rich mountain water, helping the coffee plants to produce wonderful succulent fruit. Like our Jamaican Blue Mountain and Wild Kopi Luwak coffee, this is an extraordinary tasting experience.

Geisha coffee begins with picking the ripest cherries. Producers prefer hand-picked cherries as it helps ensure only properly ripe coffee cherries are harvested. The riper the cherry means the resulting coffee will have a sweeter flavour profile.

Initially found in Ethiopia before spreading to Asia and the Americas, commercialisation began around 1935 and has grown in popularity ever since. Panama Geisha has long held the title of one of the world’s most expensive coffees. With its unique flavour profile, profound sweetness, difficulty to cultivate and high desirability; try Panama Geisha coffee and see what you have been missing.

Panama Geisha coffee is currently being used on the coffee circuit of the Coffee Association Barista Championships (2021).
